Playing for Rangers is too much for some players.

These are attacking players, playing at their level.

Would be extremely surprised if they weren't scoring.

Look, no one cares. These threads are neither useful or informative.

    Exactly this.

Some players can't handle the weight of expectation.

I hope Waghorn does well. Speaks well of us but sadly just couldn't cut it at the top level.

O'Halloran at the same level we play and Waghorn at a higher level?

He's playing at a level that's massively higher than the SPL.

McKay set up a goal today too. I'm stunned that hasn't been mentioned in a bumped thread by one his admirers.

    I'm delighted for Waghorn though.

Where getting a point away from home is seen as a good result.

That doesn't cut it up here.

It's night and day when playing for us you can't compare. Playing for Rangers is such a unique environment I think a lot of top championship or mid table premiership players would struggle with the expectations, we the fans talk about a mind-set and it is so true. MOH excels in a St J team that doesn't play against 2 deep banks of 4. They take advantage of MOH pace and hit on the break or hit the channels. Ipswich have played to Garners strengths but the two Ipswich’s games I have seen have been pretty stretched that is not the case with us the opposition are always disciplined and focused, setup to try and frustrate and hit on the break. We have teams who don’t fear us and even smell blood. The team need to install that belief or arrogance in themselves we are fU(kin Rangers when we went 1-2 behind today I didn’t believe we had the personnel to come back. I’m not saying it should be easy but we pretty much come up against the same thing week in week out. Well drilled disciplined teams looking to contain us and hit on the break with pace. Surely the team can setup to defend and attack against that.

That's said a lot and by me also BTW. However it seems going by past players some just don't cut it at us yet can hold there own in that league. Maybe the gulf in class isn't as big as people would like to think in the English champoionship. The EPL is a different story but plenty of SPL players have held there own in the championship

Playing for us brings high expectations. Expected to win at all costs unlike other clubs. Every team we come up against are desperate to beat us and obviously raise their game. Average teams bust their guts to have a go at us. So moh and waghorn score now they have the weight of expectation lifted. We need players like bomber brown, Ian Ferguson etc, guys who relished the chance to pull on the jersey and flourished in the heat of battle.

MOH isn't playing at the same level we play at. He's playing in an average game.

Playing for us against whoever he scored against today is a massively different task.

Pressure and expectation is not as high but the standard of football is way above our league

Not surprised. Hell get a lot more time and space to use his pace when teams aren't playing like their lives depend on it against St Johnstone, as they do against Rangers.

We should never underestimate what it takes to play for us. You can have all the ability in the world but most players lack that little bit extra.

Wouldn't disagree but it just proves you need a certain mentality to cope with the pressures of the old firm.

You don't really unless you are a complete Thicko.

MOH runs in on goal not a soul in the stand behind the goal, 2 men and a dog in the stadium.

Not rocket science, no pressure hence no problem performing.

Loads of people care. And they are informative. They informed many that an ex-player scored at their new club.

Why the hell would anyone want a signed Waghorn shirt now he's left?
